Q. What is Eat Now Network?

ENN is an online ordering platform that allows restaurants to accept web, Facebook and mobile food orders for pickup or delivery. Our software lets you take orders from your existing website, meaning your online traffic is not redirected to an outside food ordering site. Visitors stay on your website to place the order. And your search rankings increase when people find your restaurant, not the outside food ordering site. So you are maximizing the money you spend on advertising as well. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it?

Fact is, the average American spends 32 hours per month on the internet (and nearly 8 hours of that on Facebook)! So, having a strong online presence is needed to build a solid customer base and get repeat customers. This is certainly the trend in food ordering as well. This is why we built the ENN platform.

Studies show that restaurants sell more food, and have bigger ticket orders when offering online ordering, because it becomes a simple click of the button to place an order – no explaining it over the phone and no interrupting the busy restaurant staff. We suspect that orders are also more accurate. Everybody wins.

Using our interface, restaurants can build an online menu and be up and ready to accept orders in no time. Restaurants can add menu photos, accept coupons, and connect to their MailChimp or Constant Contact account for email marketing.

The process is simple. Restaurants sign up. Build a menu. Add our menu widget to their website, Facebook page, and mobile site. That’s it (more or less). Sure, we need a few more bits of information, but this about covers it.

If you’re convinced and ready to get started, go ahead and Sign Up.

Q. Can you help build my ENN menu?

We can certainly help set up your ENN account and build your menu.

We know your time is valuable and your focus is on preparing and selling great food.

Passing this task to us makes logical sense – we know our system and will make sure your account gets set up properly from the start. We take care of everything; build your menu, configure your account, even help connect our menu app to your Facebook page and mobile site. We can get you ready to accept orders in 2 days. Not a bad deal.

You can sign up for our Complete Setup Package under the Billing section of your account.

Q. How do my orders get processed?

Essentially customers order your tasty food, then decide how to pay (either cash or credit card).

If they choose to pay cash, they pay you upon pickup or delivery. If they choose to pay by credit card, they enter their credit card details on the checkout page. This lets us handle the “dirty work” behind the scenes. And keep in mind we never store credit card details. This information is securely passed directly to your Payment Gateway. In fact, we never touch the payment, so it’s processed as securely and quickly as possible.

At this point, the order is forwarded to you via Email, Directly to your Receipt Printer, Text message, POS Integration, Google Cloud Print, HP ePrint, Phone and Fax.

For credit card payments we interface with a variety of Payment Gateways, including Authorize.net and PayPal Pro.

Q. How long does it take to process orders?

All orders are processed immediately, but the method of delivery determines how long it actually takes to get to the restaurant. But generally, it takes a minute for the order to be sent. Google Cloud Print and Point-of-Sale (POS) integration are the fastest, and certainly fax is the slowest.

Q. How do I receive Order notifications?

You select how to be notified of online food orders from your customers:

  • Email.
  • Directly to your Receipt Printer.
  • Text message.
  • POS Integration.
  • Google Cloud Print.
  • HP ePrint.
  • Phone.
  • Fax.

It doesn’t matter if the order is processed thru your website, your Facebook app, or mobile site, they all get delivered how you specify here. You can also select multiple ways to receive orders (such as via email and text).

If you elect to receive notifications via email, you can list multiple email addresses by separating them with comma, and everyone on the list will be notified when you get orders.

You can send orders directly to your receipt printer as long as it uses the OPOS printer interface.

Q. How long does it take for a restaurant to get paid?

ENN is not connected with any Payment Gateways, therefore the payment timetable is determined by the customer’s bank. Normal processing times should apply.

We do not handle or touch payments in any way. We forward the customer’s payment information (card number, etc.) directly to the restaurant’s Payment Gateway, so any hold times would be dictated by your customer’s bank. This creates the fastest possible payment scenario, and greatly simplifies underwriting.
